The tenth anniversary of the wedding of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Stephanie de Lannnoy is next week, October 19 and 20th. We can’t let that event pass without commemorating it. Lots of these photos include slideshows, so remember to click through to see everything!
Engagement Photos
Well, look at these two babies. (The two in the middle, folks! I know the Grand Duke and Duchess are ageless, but they were not babies!). I long to see this hairstyle on Stephanie again.
The State Reception
Before I found this photo last night I had no idea this particular event – a state reception prior to their civil wedding – was part of the package. Doesn’t Stephanie look nice in this color? It was from Diane von Furstenberg.
Civil Wedding
For the civil ceremony, Stephanie wore ivory Chanel and her new mother-in-law wore Elie Saab (a bit of theme for this wedding, there). The whole family went in hard for very pale colors. Alexandra is in Dior, and Tessy is wearing Ralph Lauren.
Pre-Wedding Gala
The full Elie Saab effect burst forth at the gala, with Stephanie and her mother-in-law leading the pack. That pleated effect on Stephanie’s neckline is just a chef’s kiss.

The guests went full gala with tiaras and designer gowns. Crown Princess Mette Marit in her Pucci is by far my favorite (definitely my favorite hair) but it’s a crowded field.
The Grand Event
The grand Saab wedding gown makes its entrance! There’s so much else to look at it though: the wee attendants in their historical garb, Queen Maxima’s towering feather, Crown Princess Mary’s jaunty hat, and that gorgeous cathedral.
As we know, this couple are now the ecstatic parents of the cutest baby boy, with another child on the way. Let the happiness continue.
