Let’s take a look at one of Queen Margrethe’s more divisive tiaras, the Naasut Tiara. It’s a lot of very yellow gold, and to be quite honest, it’s not a favorite of mine in any way, shape or form. But it is fun to play with.
I call this “A Trio of Naasuts”. Not great, but I like the more muted golds, silvers and bronze-ish tones. Then I thought why not go for a Mary’s Midnight Tiara feel. I like that one a lot!
I also put it on her a few times, mainly when she had darker hair. This one came out pretty well. Original tiara on the left for all of the ladies below.
I like it much better on Mary and Marie. Their darker hair and complexions seem to work much better with the gold.
