Clap-Out – Let’s Hear it for Our Guest Posts!

Our guest post authors have been a huge support to us throughout the years! There are so many of them that we can’t highlight them all here. However, if you want to revisit any or all of them, go to the Archive/Recurring Features page and scroll down to “Guest Posts”. Please, all of you who have contributed, take a deep bow now.

As a treat, we have one final guest post on deck here, courtesy of our own Mrs. Diamond, who has given so much insight into Swedish tiara events throughout the years. Thank you, Mrs. D! We have appreciated all your efforts throughout the years.

Mrs. D’s Visits to Royal Jewel Exhibitions

Housekeeping Note from Mrs. D: Over the past few years, I’ve visited a few royal jewel exhibitions and filmed the tiaras. The glitter is crazy! Here is a farewell post with Danish and Swedish tiaras in motion! Enjoy!

Here’s a small gift to our Hofdames, and to all of my friends here at the handbag: Some glittering footage from Stockholm and Copenhagen. I’ve visited three exhibitions with royal jewels throughout the last years, and I was completely blinded by the jewels. I was shaking with excitement and so was the camera – but I hope you’ll appreciate it. No labels needed since you know the jewels. Enjoy!

They cameos deserve some stills, to show off the details. I had no idea the cameos were that three dimensional. Look at the bracelet, one of the cameos has a wing on its head! The cameo parure was extremely glittery in real life, but strangely enough it doesn’t show in the pictures. And the silver is a bit dark. Well well! The tiara of cameos, pearls, and gold was gleaming in the dark. Absolutely mesmerizing!
