Britain
Breaking with our recent tradition of starting of with Sweden, let’s start with Miss Betty here.
All I can say here is SWOOOOOOOOOOOOON! I know I say it a lot, but WHAT A BABE! I love the details on this gown.
We all know she gets at least a double entry because she is who she is, but this hat is absolutely glorious! And I do wish I had a better look at the dress underneath as the pattern seems downright modern and classic at the same time.
Princess Beatrice looked stunning stunning in this 2011 appearance at Elton John’s White Tie & Tiaras Ball.
Diana was always a winner in this classic pink suit.
Catherine’s 2012 Singapore pink silk dress was simply a stunner. I really don’t think any photos do the luxury of this fabric any justice.
Camilla wore a version of what seems to be her usual cut of dress to the Sussex wedding in 2018. I tell you what, I am HERE for this hat! It’s everything I love about her giant hats and yet somehow manages to stand out to my eye.
Norway
Crown Princess Martha slays in this fab pink concoction at Harald’s 1953 confirmation. Note the delicate overlay towards the hem.

Sweden
Silvia looked amazing in this pink gown at her eldest’s wedding. SO many good fashion features came from Victoria & Daniel’s wedding…it really was a treasure trove.
Victoria looked absolutely stunning in her pre-wedding concert look which I’m sure all of you are shocked to see featured here. Your pal OC can rarely resist a crusty Saab, and this one is glorious.
Another excellent entry from Christina at another Swedish wedding, in this case Carl Philip. Hey there, Uncle Tordie….how about we bring that beard back again for OC?
Netherlands
Maxima brought the hot pink goodness to Britain during the 2018 state visit.
Her cousin-in-law Marilène, one of the many wives of van Vollenhovens (Maurits) wore this pink gown to the inauguration of Wax in 2013. It’s a LOT of look, but it’s a look I remember and for that I appreciate it.
Greece
Theodora wore this modern pink creation to cousin Frederik of Denmark’s 50th birthday party.
Anne Marie wore this simple pink garment to Haakon & Mette Marit’s 2001 wedding, but brought a bit of glam with the sheer coat and a bit of nostalgia with the Khedive tiara.
Belgium
Marilène wasn’t the only lady getting her pink on at Wax’s inauguration. Mathilde looked great in this deceptively pink gown, and she was feeling good.
Denmark
Mary in a repeated soft pink dress once again stunned at Daisy’s 75th birthday party. Go through the slides to see a nice peek at the back of her hair with the pinks clips from the ruby set.
Benedikte in this somehow cute yet elegant pink floral always grabs my attention. It’s hard to find photos of this gown that don’t cost hundreds of dollars to use!
And finally, we have Alexandra wearing this simple silhouette, also to Frederik’s 50th birthday party. Simple, yet effective. Plus bonus sighting of the Alexandrine Drop Tiara.
